Buhlhaus in Eibenstock

Stayed here in September. Actually a good place to stay; the rooms were not above average, but they were neat. In the evening - we were a bit tired after a long tour: aggressive disco lighting shone in the windows - from a projector that illuminated the house from the outside. Certainly chic on the outside ... unfortunately not at all on the inside. "Must be like this, is controlled automatically" - the concise answer of the caretaker (maybe it was the owner ... he didn't introduce himself when he was late in the evening - we let in some fresh air, stormy outside our door knocked: to check that the heating was certainly closed with the window open. (...) And at breakfast we had the feeling that he was counting the bites in each guest's mouth the kitchen: "I had to add this and that again at the buffet ..." Without words. There are two stars for the always friendly ladies of the house. Without the 'head waiter' there would be four of them.

Very nice hotel with modern decor, very friendly and clean. Breakfast and dinner highly recommended.

The room was very nice and modern and clean. The staff is very courteous and friendly. The music at breakfast and dinner is a matter of taste.

The Bühlhaus towers above Eibenstock - and it is worth looking down at the tranquil town from there. A very fine place to relax, dine well and enjoy the typical hospitality of the Ore Mountains. The restaurant impresses with a good selection and fresh preparation, the beer garden with a unique atmosphere and view (at the right table). The rooms - good, spacious, cozy. Breakfast - like from another planet. I have seldom seen such a perfect selection at the lovingly designed buffet, fresh and regional products as well as breakfast classics (and that in Corona times). The hosts convinced with honest cordiality. And last but not least - pets are also welcome and the adjacent (forest) paths are fantastic for dogs - and when the four-legged friend is resting, their owners can set off on a discovery tour through the Ore Mountains and Vogtland. The Bühlhaus - unreservedly recommended for coming back and forth.

The breakfast buffet was very extensive, we only missed fresh bakery rolls and freshly prepared egg dishes. However, the breakfast was extremely uncomfortable due to the corona rules and the choleric chef. One felt constantly observed and monitored by this. You were always afraid of doing something wrong. You have to bring a lot of time to have breakfast. The room was cozy, but unfortunately quite warm during our stay. We tried dinner in the restaurant once, but it didn't convince us, too much salt, everything drowned in sauce and the meat too hard. The waitress took note of our criticism without comment. Despite being a relatively small hotel, everything was pretty impersonal and we didn't feel really welcome here. There is enough decoration everywhere, but there is a lack of warmth here. The hotel is only conditionally suitable for cyclists, as e-bikes cannot be safely accommodated and the batteries can also be charged safely, e.g. is not possible in a charging cabinet. During our stay there were a lot of dogs in the hotel. Since carpets are available almost everywhere, this is not ideal from a hygienic point of view and for allergy sufferers. No proper invoice will be printed out on departure.

Were on the terrace for dinner. Great food and very nice atmosphere. Unfortunately it took a long time. The boss herself doesn't have a smile on her face. You feel unwelcome. It's a shame, it breaks a lot. The other service staff was very nice and attentive.

Very nice rooms, clean and furnished with their own style. The restaurant is open every day with a good selection, requests are catered for. The breakfast offers a huge selection, top the fruits!

The pearl from Eibenstock - how true. The rooms modern and nice. The beer garden is a feast for the eyes, the service attentive and friendly. The food was excellent. Luck on the Flechsig family - we'd love to come back :)

Very good cuisine, with regional cuisine in a new guise. Nowhere is better within a radius of 30km. Yes it is a bit expensive, but it is worth it. From here again, a big LOB to the kitchen. I can't say anything about the hotel itself, but it can't be worse than the kitchen.

Food is allright friendly staff. Decorations are a challenge.

We just wanted to have a quick meal and were surprised with a fantastic lunch in a very nice hotel. Nice portions with really good taste are served here at really fair prices. The service is super nice and if we are going to vacation in this area again, then definitely in the Bühlhaus. Thank you.

Nice beer garden and very attentive service .. Unfortunately we had to wait more than an hour for the food to receive only 2 out of 3 ordered dishes. The schnitzel was served 20 minutes later. To be fair, one has to say that all dishes tasted very good, although the portions for good eaters may be relatively small. Conclusion: only recommended if you are not hungry and have a lot of patience.

We always like to come home, a good meal with a great atmosphere in the Bühlhaus is part of it - a trip there is always worth it 👍🙂

We were here for lunch in this lovingly furnished, somewhat more upscale restaurant, as we have often done before. As always, we were very satisfied, especially with the dishes, the friendly service and the ambience (currently decorated for Christmas - a must for friends of Erzgebirge wood art). Dogs are allowed and are served with water. The building is wonderfully situated with a wide view. The center of Eibenstock can be reached on foot. A little tip: reserve a table! CONCLUSION: Everything perfect! 5 Stars!

Tasty, clean and friendly. The reception was great and very friendly, since we felt right at home. We came with our two children. We had a great room, where we lacked nothing. The food was for us the daily highlight, lovingly prepared and just delicious. The hot meals were even served on warm plates. Overall, the price / performance of the food was always ok and adequate in our view. The service was very prudent without being "intrusive" or even disturbing. The direct environment to the hotel is simply picturesquely beautiful and worth a walk in every direction. There are many ways to do something with the family without having to drive long distances, this was true in both sunny and rainy weather. We were also very thankful for excursion tips given to us by the hotel. The hotel itself is already very well maintained from the outside and it seems a lot has been invested here, with great attention to detail. We like to come back.
